A Level Results Day 2025

Today, we congratulate our students on their excellent A-level results. 42% achieved A* or A grades, with 14% securing A* and 79% of students receiving A*-B. We are delighted that the vast majority of our students gained admission to their chosen universities or prestigious apprenticeships. Notably, four students secured places at Oxford or Cambridge, one will attend medical school, and one at dentistry school.

Special commendation was awarded to 4A* achievers Henry G, Phillip D, Charlotte M, Alex McD, and Emily T, who each demonstrated exceptional academic performance. Amber R also impressed with 3A* alongside an additional A* in her Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Meanwhile, 3A* students Jai B and Esme J were recognised for their outstanding achievements.

Headteacher Mr. Sutherland praised the results, attributing them to students' and staff’s dedication: “We are delighted to celebrate our students’ remarkable examination results. Your commitment and determination have shone through, and we couldn’t be prouder of all you’ve accomplished. This milestone marks the beginning of many exciting opportunities ahead. As a school, we are proud of your success and wish you the very best in your future endeavours. We also hope you will remain connected as Old Danes for many years to come.”
